As we are down to the ugly list of options in this war on terror, with drones
eviscerating our tribal areas, the nation is grappling with many troubling
question?: Are we still a sovereign state , being the ultimate conundrum.
what the knights of piece,fighting this noble war on terror, have so far
achieved by using drones butchering hundreds of innocents including women
and children? How many targets they have hit? What is the success ratio?
Is it a reliable technology? What are its shortcomings? For each Al-Qeada
operative how many civilians have to die?
It has been alleged that from December 1,2009 to December 31,2009 , for each
AL-Qeada terrorist 140 innocent Pakistanis had to die,Success rate of these
attacks is Merely 11% .It means 89 out of hundred (100) drone attacks kills
innocent civilians only .58 civilians die every month due to theis attacks.
From December 1,2009 to December 31,2009 only five Al-Qaeda activists and
700 innocent civilians have been killed.Out of 44 drone attacks only 14
could hit the target.Another report authored by Muhammad Khawaja ,reveals that from January14,2006 to April 8,2009 US drone bombings killed 678 civilians and 14 Al-Qaeda operatives, accountaing to a rationof nearly 50 civilians killed for Al-Qeada prerative killed,or a 94% civilians death rate,
The terrible fact of mounting civilian casualities has been admitted by former senior
counter insurgency advisor to US Army, David Killcullen when in a meeting with congress, he revealed ,*we bhave killed 14 senior Al-Qeada leaders using drone attacks; In the same time period we have killed 700
Pakistani civilians in the same area,*

Karim Khan: The tribal people, we are facing very difficult problems, first of all I would like to say we are members of a tribal territory of the sovereign state which name is Pakistan. It is not a part of Afghanistan. We are the tribal people of Pakistan. So when the American when it came attacked Afghanistan so different badly they control this part. So they started to attack our tribal people by drones airplanes. I think that the American people are telling a lie to everyone and everywhere. In these drone attacks they attack my house also. It was 31st December 2009 and they said that we killed a number of AQ terrorists, but in fact in this drone attack there were only three persons. One was my beloved son, named Zaheenullah, and the other was my younger brother named Asid Iqbal and the third one was a mason by profession, he was constructing a mosque for us in that village.
So they killed these three persons. Asif Akbar was a government servant in the education dept. He got his masters degrees from NIMA. NIMA is a university here in Islamabad, which is under the control of the [Pakistani Army]
And my son, Zaheenullah, he memorized the holy Quran by heart, from the same capital Islamabad, and he was also a government servant in the same department education department, he was in security staff. So they killed these two persons, and the third one was a mason. They killed these persons and they said that they killed “Adjuma.” I told these people yesterday, that after some months they announced in another drone attack they announced that once again that they killed the same person, named Adjuma. And after some months in another drone attack, they announced that we killed once again that they killed Adjuma. We are astonished and we are wondering whether a man has one death or several deaths; a man has one life or several lives.
Such case in another drone attack in our old village in which case, I think at that time I think we was 12 years old, he lost his both legs and one eye, and his uncle, he was paralyzed. His lower body was paralyzed. He was a driver by profession and a truck accident he injured and then his lower part was paralyzed. And he was in wheelchair for 6 years. And he was killed in the same drone attack. And his cousin killed he was also driver and his son was killed who was serving him. And so they said that we have killed a commander named Ilias Kashmiri, I think he is alive until now. And after this they said in another drone strike, we killed Ilias Kashmiri and after some months once again they announced once again that we killed Kashmiri in another drone strike. And after several times they announced this. But I think he is alive until now. But the people who were killed in these drone attacks…who were they? They are announcing and telling people that we are killing AQ terrorists, Taliban terrorists. But in fact they are not AQ people, they are not AQ member they are not Taliban member. They are ordinary people. And they are killing ordinary people.
And in another case this case is took part in the same part of N. Waziristan. In Miranshah City. The name of the village is Daka Heil. So in this drone attack there was a baby, a child of 10 months. 10 months and her mother killed in drone strike, and they announced that they killed foreigners, terrorists, Arab terrorists, but in fact I know them they are from my tribe, Wazir tribe, a baby of 10 months I think she is not Taliban. How to drink how to eat, she is in the cradle and she can’t do anything, any terrorists acts, but they say that we killed terrorists. And her mother–they killed her mother also.
So there was another case in [ ]. The father name was Sadid Noor. He was a government employee in Kashmir [ ]. He was a headmaster in middle school. His two sons, I think their ages not more than 10 and 8 years—they were just like flowers. They killed them. They killed them and they announced that we killed terrorists.
So in every drone strike, the people killed, they are ordinary people, and they are not terrorists. We have proof. So they are killing our Muslim people, our innocent people, our tribal people, and they are living in Pakistan. They are not in Afghanistan. There is a battle there, there are difficulties, there is problems between them—the whole world and the Taliban in Afghanistan, not in Pakistan, Pakistan is our territory–a peaceful territory in the whole world. It’s calm, it’s peaceful. And the American people only want to disturb, this territory to disturb peace and stability in territory. We have a state, a sovereign state named Pakistan. So they are taking this area only to disturb the peace of the area.
So in most these drone strikes, they are killing ordinary people and announcing that we are killing terrorists and AQ members. But, in fact, it’s clear, a clear lie, it’s clear that they are telling lies. It’s not fact. Because I told you people that I lost my son and my brother. They were government employees. And [ ], he will do his duty, he will not take part in any terrorist attacks. He will do his own duty. He can’t take part in terrorist acts. For example if someone do, or take part in these terrorist acts, he will, and he has to go, and intervene them and do something, because the anti-armed forces are there in Afghanistan. So if he doesn’t come to his duty, he will be terminated. But they are blaming us, they are Taliban or terrorists, or we are killing them, but in fact they are killing our innocent tribal people. So the situation is there very bad in our area because you know when there is a drone, we, the tribal people are seeing it 24 hours, is circling in our air space, in this tribal areas. When they want to attack any house, they attack it. No one stops them, no one say any word, no one raise their voice against this, that they are killing innocent people.
Drone Strikes
Our trade, our education, everything is there, disturbed by the drone attacks. Because when I was in any part of the world, there is difficulties, there is violence, there is attacking of missiles in the whole area is facing big problem. Because our people, some people, left the area and settle for example Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Peshawar, our kids, our boys, they are in a different part of Pakistan, they are not living in, they left the area. They are admitted in different schools, and universities in certain areas due to this drone strikes.
So they are only blaming us, they are telling a lie to you people that we are killing AQ, terrorists, Taliban terrorists, but in fact, it’s not true. In fact, it’s a lie and they are killing innocent people.
